Gist of my comment:
A new national holiday called “Sports Day” has been established, and to be enacted on July 24, 2020, the first day of 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The Olympic Games will be held in midsummer when there is a high risk of heatstroke in the same period. While the athletes may probably be well trained and well prepared for the heat of summer, common people are not. I am afraid the word of “Sports Day” may encourage playing sports on the midsummer day of July 24, thereby increasing the risk of heatstroke across the nation. To avoid such a fear and such an unwelcomed event, I propose changing the name of holiday to “Olympic Day,” “Olympic Memorial Day” or suchlike name.
Thank you for your attention to my comment above, hoping that there will be as few heatstroke patients as possible in the next heatstroke season.
I will be back soon! Akkie♡♡
